Data Deletion Instructions for NoteZap
If you would like to delete your data associated with NoteZap, please follow the instructions below. NoteZap is committed to user privacy and gives you full control over your information.
1. How to Delete All Local Data
You can instantly delete all notes, folders, and settings stored on your device:
- Open the NoteZap app.
- Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right menu.
- Scroll down to the Data Management section.
- Tap "Clear All Data".
- Confirm the action. All data will be permanently removed from your device.
2. How to Delete Cloud Backups (Google Drive)
If you have enabled Google Drive backup, you can delete your backup files as follows:
- Open your Google Drive app or visit drive.google.com.
- Look for the folder named "NoteZap_Backup" (or similar NoteZap identified files).
- Delete the folder and its contents.
- Empty your Google Drive Trash to ensure permanent deletion.
Alternatively, you can disconnect NoteZap from your Google Account:
- Go to your Google Account Settings.
- Navigate to Security > Third-party apps with account access.
- Select NoteZap and click Remove Access.
3. Requesting Manual Data Deletion
Since NoteZap does not store your notes on its own servers (only on your device and your private Google Drive), we do not have direct access to your notes.
